GATED is the product
GATED is a screening check that sits in front of your AI features. Your app sends each untrusted user message to one HTTPS endpoint before it reaches your model, and gets back a plain allow or block decision in a few milliseconds. It is built to stop prompt attacks, abuse and runaway token spend without you installing a package or sharing your system prompt, model keys or database credentials.
- Prompts are evaluated in memory and discarded. Nothing is stored or used for training.
- If the check times out or an account runs out of checks, it fails open so your app keeps working.
- Integration is a short native fetch call that you and your AI coding assistant can read in full.

m6l is the studio behind it
m6l is a small, independent software studio run by Russ. It designs, builds and operates GATED, answers the support desk, and writes the docs. There is no separate sales team or outside investor behind the product. When you email a GATED address, you are reaching the people who build it.
Why the logo says "by m6l"
GATED is the thing you integrate. m6l is who makes it and stands behind it. The logo carries both so the name on the product matches the name on the agreements, the invoices and the email you get back. Everything else on this site talks about GATED.
